So, the love that Pete Davidson feels for Kim Kardashian is of the get-it-inked-permanently-on-your-body variety. Actually, it’s of the get-it-inked-permanently-on-your-body-a-FEW-TIMES variety.
“He has a few tattoos. A few cutes one that he got. I think my favorite one, it says here,” she said, while pointing to her clavicle, “‘My girl is a lawyer.’ And that one’s really cute.”
If just reading those words sent your imagination into hyperdrive, don’t worry because Kim is here for you. On Saturday, she casually posted a picture of Pete’s proud-of-his-girl clavicle ink on her Instagram Story, and it is exactly as described:
Recently, fans got a peek at what appeared to be a tattoo of Kim’s name on Pete’s chest, but she clarified during her chat with Ellen that there actually isn’t any ink involved in that particular tribute, which is a branding (yes, as in marking the skin permanently by burning it with hot metal).
“The Kim one isn’t a tattoo. It’s actually a branding. Like, a … branding,” she explained. “He wanted to do something that was really different.”
Which, yeah. Mission accomplished, Pete. So, why get Kim’s name burned into his skin as opposed to inking it? Because he never, ever wants to be able to get rid of it, apparently.
“I just think he was like, ‘I want something that’s there that I can’t get rid of,'” Kim added of Pete’s decision to brand his skin with her name. “‘Cause he’s in the process of getting rid of his arm tats and his neck tats. So he’s like, ‘I don’t want to be able to get rid of it or to cover it up, and I just wanted it, like, there as, like, a scar.'”
