When his baby girl swallowed a penny and began choking on it, a concerned father frantically hurried to the hospital. As soon as he reached the hospital, he was immediately taken into custody for several traffic violations.
A father’s love for his daughter is endless, and if need be, he wouldn’t think twice before jeopardizing his life for her sake. The protection, support, and affection a girl gets from her dad are unlike anything else in the world.
Something similar unfolded in Centreville, Illinois, when a father acted just in time to save his little daughter’s life one day in April 2019.

Darius Hinkle saw that his one-year-old daughter, Demani, had swallowed a penny and was choking on it. He grabbed his little princess and rushed her to Touchette Regional Hospital in Illinois without wasting a minute. He told Fox:
“The first thing in my mind was to get her to the hospital.”
The only thing on his mind was getting his baby girl to the hospital as fast as possible, so he didn’t care how fast he was driving. The scared father drove at 100 miles per hour to reach his desired destination in the minimum possible time.

His speeding landed him in trouble when blue and red lights began tailing his car, and there was no way to escape. As soon as he reached the hospital, he was surrounded by a handful of police officers who took him into custody.
While Demani will have no recollection of this incident when she grows up, her parents will forever remember the kind deed of the nurses from Touchette Hospital.
The cops said he was driving so fast that he even went beyond 100 miles an hour at one point. On the other hand, Hinkle revealed that he was worried sick for his daughter and didn’t want anything to happen to her.

As it turned out, Hinkle not only broke the speed limit but was also driving without a valid driver’s license. However, the worried father said he didn’t mean to violate any traffic rules and was solely concerned about saving his daughter’s life.
His wife, Donecia Pittman, told the cops that her husband acted the way he did because it was an emergency; otherwise, he would have never disobeyed the traffic rules.
Hinkle was arrested despite the explanations, and Donecia had to go to the police station to bail him out. But to her surprise, someone had already bonded him out when she got there.
“I can’t thank them enough.”
