OnlyFans mannequin Courtney Clenney was ordered held with out bond Saturday on expenses that she stabbed her boyfriend to dying in April.
It was the 26-year-old’s first courtroom look since she was extradited from Hawaii, the place she was arrested earlier this month, again to South Florida to face the costs. She was booked into the Miami-Dade County jail on Friday afternoon.
Clenney, 26, claims she stabbed 27-year-old Christian Obumseli in self-defense after he started choking her, as CrimeOnline has reported. Investigators initially accepted that story, however after a four-month investigation, prosecutors charged Clenney, who goes by Courtney Tailor Online, with second diploma homicide.
In courtroom on Saturday, Clenney’s attorneys argued that there was no possible trigger to cost their consumer with second diploma homicide, saying detectives “cherry-picked” textual content messages they used to cost her and that she did have some bruising after the deadly assault on her boyfriend, WPLG reported.
However Miami-Dade Decide Jacqueline Woodward stated that possible trigger had already been established when detectives obtained a warrant for Clenney’s arrest.
“Miss Clenney, your attorneys are here and they’re fighting hard for you, but at this time, I’m not really the judge who should be making these decisions,” Woodward stated. “It should be a judge who knows a little bit more about your case.”
Clenney is about to be arraigned on September 6, though her attorneys may request an earlier date. She faces up to life in jail if convicted.
