Meagan Good Left Cheating Ex Thomas Jones & Found Love with Devon Franklin Whom She Is Now Divorcing

Fans recognize Meagan Good from her roles in hit movies such as “Stomp The Yard” and “The Intruder.” But away from the big screens, Good has had her share of ups and downs in her personal life.

In the 2012 flick “Think Like A Man,” Good played the role of Mya, whose character adhered strictly to the 90-day rule that involved making a man wait at least three months before getting intimate.

And while she played the role perfectly, many do not realize that Good had shunned a life of destruction just years back. She confessed that she had been a destructive person, and she struggled with that a lot.

Being a child star, she made her debut in film with “Friday.” For the better part of her teens and early 20s, she was linked romantically to Nick Cannon, Jamie Foxx, 50 Cent, and Lil Wayne.

Despite the claims, during a drop-in at the “The Breakfast Club,” Good denied all allegations about a promiscuous past, saying she’d always been picky about who she dated.

However, one known relationship was with former Kansas City Chiefs, Thomas Jones. Their relationship ended when Jones cheated on her.

In 2010, Good denounced her party-girl lifestyle and vowed to remain celibate until she got married. The “Monster Hunter” actress became a born-again Christian and embarked on her celibacy journey.

In 2011, when filming “Jumping The Broom,” Good met Seventh Day Adventist pastor DeVon Franklin. The two immediately hit it off, and Good was pleasantly surprised when DeVon disclosed that he’d also been celibate for ten years.

They quickly became close, and the following year, they got engaged. Good and DeVon married at a winery in Malibu, California, a few months later.

Together, they build such a strong marriage that many only admire. But besides sharing a love for each other and God, the two also worked on projects together.

They have co-authored two books, “The Wait: A Powerful Practice for Finding the Love of Your Life” and “The Wait Devotional: Daily Inspirations for Finding the Love of Your Life and the Life You Love.”

The couple planned on taking their relationship to the next level by adding to their family. At the beginning of 2021, Good said she’d love to start having babies at 40.

Sadly, their plans did not come to fruition as the couple recently announced that they were parting ways. While the reason behind their divorce remains unknown, the two are adamant no one is to blame and that they will remain connected.
