Sept 6 (Reuters) – Meta Platforms Inc’s (META.O) Instagram is planning to drastically scale back its shopping features because it shifts the main target of its e-commerce efforts to those who straight drive promoting, the Data reported, citing an inside memo.

Employees had been notified that Instagram’s current shopping web page will finally disappear, in accordance to the report on Tuesday. (https://bit.ly/3AWORYe)

Over the following few months Instagram will take a look at a less complicated and fewer personalised model of the shopping web page identified internally as “Tab Lite”, the Data reported.
