The bathroom also has a spa room in addition to a massage room.

Also, there is a private tennis court, and at the time of Cowell’s purchase, the bedrooms were fitted with Beaumaniere and dark wood floors, Venetian plaster walls, and high ceilings with large skylights.

The house, which was built in 1988, features five fireplaces, with two of them located in the master bedroom. The mansion also overlooks the Pacific ocean, and it also has staff quarters and even a guest suite at the entrance.

RELATIONSHIP WITH LAUREN SILVERMAN

Simon Cowell met Lauren Silverman in 2004, at the Sandy Lane resort in Barbados, while she was vacationing with her then-husband Andrew Silverman, a real estate mogul.

Cowell and Andrew became fast friends, but the TV mogul already had his eyes on Lauren. Due to her marriage to Andrew, Cowell continued to date other women, including journalist Terri Seymour and make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy, to who he was engaged from 2010 till 2011.

His relationship with those mentioned above two did not last, and Cowell went back to Lauren, who made him feel at ease even though she was still married to Andrew.

Cowell and Lauren started dating secretly but were soon forced to make their relationship public after Lauren got pregnant in 2013.

This revelation turned into a scandal, and soon after, Lauren’s husband, Andrew, filed for an at-fault divorce, citing adultery as the main reason. Their divorce was finalized in November of that year.

Stipulated in the divorce settlement that lasted until January 2015, Cowell was required to stay away from Lauren’s son with Adam or face a $50,000 penalty.

Cowell and Lauren continued their relationship after her divorce from Andrew, and they welcomed a child, Eric, on February 14, 2014.

Speaking to journalists after Eric’s birth, Cowell explained that fatherhood had softened him, and it was much easier than he thought. The TV mogul admitted his son’s birth is probably the best incentive he needed to keep everything running as well as possible over the next few years.

Although, he explained that the change was not easy for him and that during the first eight or nine months, he thought the child did not like him very much. Eric reminded him of his younger self because the young child knows how to try it on and get away with things.

Cowell revealed the couple are not ruling out the idea of having a second or third child because he had a brother when he was young, and it felt cool.

The X-Factor star also explained that he was not proud that Eric’s birth was overshadowed by the affair between him and Lauren. Cowell admitted he was not proud of it or wanted to hurt anyone; it just could not be avoided.

Cowell also revealed watching Eric grow is the most amazing feeling, and he could not imagine not having him. Eric was also the inspiration behind his impressive weight loss because his son’s healthy eating habits influenced Cowell.

The “America’s Got Talent” judge hopes Eric will take over his business one day, and according to Cowell, the young child is already showing interest in working on his dad’s popular talent shows.

Apart from showbiz, father and son are also planning to write a children’s book called “Wishfits,” which will be based on a world where the most unusual animals exist.

Cowell also credited both Lauren and Eric for being so supportive during his recovery after the TV personality broke his back in an electric bike accident in August 2020.  He revealed Eric likened him to Ironman when he saw the metal rods and screws in his back that were fitted to aid the TV mogul’s recovery, and that meant so much to Cowell.

Simon Cowell revealed that his relationship with Lauren Silverman is still alive, and the lovebirds are closer than ever.

He explained that the COVID lockdown tested their relationship because being in lockdown for a long time is when you realize whether or not you actually enjoy someone’s company and that he and Lauren really did enjoy each other’s company.

Cowell praised Lauren for always playing an active role in his charity endeavors. He also fulfills his own share of childcare, like picking Eric from school and taking him to football training, an activity he apparently enjoys.
