Herald: Sonali Phogat case to be handed over to the CBI: Goa CM Sawant


The Goa Chief Minister on Monday mentioned that the case pertaining to the dying of Tiktok star and Haryana BJP chief Sonali Phogat will be transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation after steady demand from the residents of Haryana and the household of Sonali Phogat as properly. Sawant acknowledged that he would personally write to the Union Dwelling Minister Amit Shah to switch the case to the CBI.

“The investigation conducted by the Goa police is right on track and they have found many clues. I have full confidence in the Goa Police. The case is almost near completion. But considering the continuous demands made by the public, as well as Sonali Phogat’s daughter we have decided to hand over the case to the CBI”, claimed CM Sawant.
