Common & Tiffany Haddish Split – Many of the Rapper’s Relationships End before Marriage Due to His Toxic Pattern

While a “happily ever after” is all one hopes for when they embark on a romantic journey, most times, it does not turn out as planned, as was the case with Common and Tiffany Haddish’s relationship.

Lonnie Rashid Lynn, known in the music circles as Common, is recognized for his rap career spanning close to three decades, as well as acting. He’s appeared in movies such as “John Wick: Chapter 2” and “Just Wright.”

Haddish, on the other hand, is a comedian, an author, and an actress who rose to fame after she landed the role of Nekeisha Williams on the NBC sitcom “The Carmichael Show.”

The two stars first met in 2019, when the “Blue Sky” singer featured as Haddish’s love interest in the crime film “The Kitchen.” They started as friends and would occasionally meet up for a game of cards.

Eventually, a romance blossomed when they had a virtual date on Bumble and bonded over their childhood goals. They danced and ordered food for frontline workers at hospitals.

Speaking on “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” he showered “The Last Black Unicorn” author with praises, saying how much he cared for her and how grateful he was to have her in his life. He had found happiness.

Haddish resonated with the sentiments as she opened up about her then-new relationship, saying that she was in the best relationship of her life, and she loved it.

She seemed happy with the way the relationship was going and could not help gushing over her newfound love, declaring that she was glad she had found someone that loved and cared for her the way Common did.

A source disclosed that the two work extra hard on their careers and are often never in the same city simultaneously, which strained their relationship.

While it was good while it lasted, the split shone a new light on Common’s other failed relationships. The rapper has dated some of Holywood’s most beautiful women, such as Angela Rye, Serena Williams, and Erykah Badu.

But despite dating only the beautiful and accomplished ladies, none of his relationships worked, a problem the “When We Move” singer says he had to see a therapist for.

In an interview on “The Breakfast Club,” Common disclosed that he has a “love addiction.” He loved the feeling of being in love and living out the honeymoon phase, but once that was over and the real work began, he would opt-out.

Common told the hosts that his therapist had helped him identify the toxic patterns and communicate better with the women in his life.
